Information we collect
theflght is a reading site, not an account-based product. We don't ask you to register, and we don't collect names, emails or payment details just to read a guide. If you use the contact form or newsletter box, we collect whatever you type into it — typically your name, email and message — solely to reply to you or send the guide you asked for.
Cookies and local storage
When you save or like a guide, that choice is stored directly in your browser's local storage, not sent to a server or shared with anyone else. It stays on your device and disappears if you clear your browser data. Separately, this site shows advertising through Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies as described below. Advertising with Google AdSense
theflght uses Google AdSense to display ads that help support the site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Third-party services
Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts, icons from Bootstrap Icons and layout styles from the Bootstrap CDN. These providers may see a basic request for the asset (like any web request) but we don't pass them any personal data. Article images are served from Unsplash. Ads are served by Google AdSense, which operates under Google's own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
theflght is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. As noted above, third-party ad vendors including Google may still serve ads based on general, non-identifying browsing signals.
Your rights
You can clear your saved and liked guides at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, and you can manage or opt out of personalized ads using the links above. If you've contacted us directly, you can ask us to delete that message by emailing us.
