What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data a site can store in your browser. theflght itself doesn't set tracking cookies of its own, but the ads on this site are served by Google AdSense, which does use cookies — see below. Where we mention "storage" below, we mean your browser's local storage, which works similarly but stays on your device rather than being sent back to us with every request.
What we store
- Saved & liked guides — when you tap save or like on an article, the article's id is stored in your browser's local storage so your library page can show it to you later. This never leaves your device.
- Advertising cookies — Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. We don't control these cookies directly — see our privacy policy for how to opt out.
Third-party requests
Loading a page on theflght fetches a few external assets — Google Fonts, Bootstrap Icons, the Bootstrap CDN for styling, and ad creative served by Google AdSense. Fetching these can involve a standard web request to those providers, and in the case of AdSense, cookies used to personalize the ads you see.
Managing your storage and ad cookies
You can clear everything theflght has stored at any time through your browser's settings — usually under "Clear browsing data" or "Site settings," scoped to this site. Doing so will reset your saved and liked guides. To manage or opt out of personalized advertising cookies, visit Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
